Hi There

Hi! This is the first post in my year-long experiment of eliminating red meat and poultry from my diet. Fish, dairy, and eggs are ok, and of course tofu/seitan/tempeh and many of the products from Morningstar Farms, Quorn, & Boca, among others.

Drop in from time to time and see how I'm doing, offer suggestions/praise/encouragement/, check out recipes and experiments, and product reviews.

Good luck!!!! It will be an interesting journey. Tomorrow I start a 21 day vegan diet.

That's great! Be careful with Morning Star farms and other processed veg stuff, some have a lot of bad non-meat stuff like MSG!
Shawn & I are going vegan soon. We already were non-dairy in many ways, but we're going all the way soon!

Katy - thanks, we eat more Quorn than Morningstar, but it's hard to avoid all the fillers. I'm nore label-conscious now than I ever was before, I'll read labels almost every time before trying something.
